Music is in everything I do. As a kid, I was pretty shy and kept to myself except when it came to singing. I would sing to myself (or so I thought) and was constantly told to be quiet. I had no idea I was singing out loud or making noises in class and my teachers would always remind me of it. My parents never pushed me to pursue singing but when I decided to leave college and move to LA to become a "star" they supported me one hundred percent. After several singing groups, late night recording sessions, music videos and other creative projects I decided to move to Las Vegas, and never looked back. My music career has taken me literally around the world and back. I've been blessed to tour throughout the US, Asia, and Australia and I am hoping to visit a few more continents. I have shared the stage with music greats like R&B legend Patti LaBelle, the Black-eyed Peas, Skip Martin (of Kool & the Gang), Ginuwine, Jagged Edge, Tony Terry, and Gospel legends Yolanda Adams and Karen Clark-Sheard. Some of my most notable clients and events have included M.A.C. cosmetics, Max & Co., the Houston Rockets, Platinum Realty, The Omni Resort, Southwest Airlines, Art Leboe's Concert series, Motown tribute shows, impersonators and much more.
Music can heal, comfort, uplift, and transport us to wonderful places and memories. It has not only changed my life in so many ways but has connected me to people from all over the world that I can now call my friends. Even in Asia where English is a second language I have learned that music is the universal language that we all speak and feel. I am currently based in Arizona and after fifteen plus years as a professional singer, band leader, and self promoting agent, I have expanded my company into a top quality entertainment agency.
King & I Music is an Arizona based entertainment company. We provide live music, bands, singers, event hosts, character parties, and singing telegrams for organizations worldwide; from large companies to individuals and non-profits. As a full service entertainment company we are able to address many aspects of planning entertainment for an event of any size.
